Welcome to Bauer Funeral Chapel

The Bauer Funeral Chapel was originally founded in 1884 under the name of Bakeman Funeral Home at the corner of 1st Street and Maple Avenue. In 1934 Mr. A.C. White purchased the business and operated it under the name of Bakeman-White Funeral Home. The present facility was built in 1936 at the same location. In 1954 Gerald and Rhoda Bauer bought the business and changed the name to Bauer Funeral Chapel. In 1978 Michael and Carol Bauer purchased the funeral home from his parents upon their retirement.
